CAIRO – 3 April 2018: Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian national team and Liverpool star, topped the Sky Sports "Power Ranking" table, made by the network to rank the English Premier League’s best players.

The “Power Ranking” rating depends on the performance of the players in the last five weeks of the English Premier League, and the points are counted based on 32 statistical standards.

Salah came in the lead after scoring Liverpool's winning goal against Crystal Palace in the game that ended by a 2-1 victory for Liverpool.

With that winning goal Mo Salah raised his score to 29 goals to continue leading the top scorers of the Premier league, five goals ahead of his nearest competitor, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane.

The Egyptian star is about to make several records in the current season of the PL, as he scored equal goals to Didier Drogba in one season, and he is not so far from beating Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of being the highest scorer of the Premier League. The international Portuguese holds the record with 31 goals when he was playing for Manchester United.

The UEFA Champions League’s official Twitter account posted on Monday a photo of a youngster wearing Salah’s Liverpool shirt and playing football at Mohamed Salah’s home village in Egypt; the tweet included a magnificent caption which said, “Nagrig, Egypt... Where every kid dreams of being the next Mohamed Salah.”
