CAIRO – 3 April 2018: Former Arsenal defender, Sol Campbell, believes that Manchester City are having a great season, but it is hard to compare the current team with the 2004 Premier League title winners, Arsenal.

“It's beautiful to watch the movement and the ability. Everybody is moving, working, inter-linking and making the pitch wide; it is great football," Campbell told SkySports on Tuesday.

Manchester City are leading the Premier League with 16 points clear, with seven weeks remaining at the league. They can secure the title on Saturday if they achieve victory over the second place, Manchester United, at home.

Campbell believes there is no way to compare Manchester City with Arsenal’s Invincibles, he said “It's a different time. The difference now is that money is on a different level to buy players.”

Campbell played a great role at Arsenal’s campaign to win the title in 2004. Campbell and his teammates managed to win the league without losing a single game, winning the nickname "Invincibles".

Campbell added “That's the difference with Man City, they can say it hasn't worked out and then buy two or three players at Christmas; it's just another level. They are in two different eras and two sides playing great football."

Manchester City lost only one game this season against Liverpool, and they will face them on Wednesday at the UEFA Champions League quarter finals.
