CAIRO – 1 April 2018: Atletico Madrid’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak’s demanders do not stop knocking at his door. The English press published during the last week that Arsenal and Chelsea will fight to get the services of Atlético’s goalkeeper. Also, RMC (Radio Monte Carlo) indicates that Paris St. Germain plans to pay his release clause which is €100 million. Oblak is PSG’s main priority in the next summer transfer market.

The French team, currently led by Unai Emery, does not think about improving their current goalkeeper Areola’s contract. Areola didn’t prove himself with the French club which led them to look for signing another goalkeeper.

The Slovenian will have played on Sunday his 150th game with Atlético’s jersey and his contract renewal negotiations continue, as he recently stated on a new contract with Atlético: “I can only say one thing: there is nothing new. I know that many things have been written assuming that everything is fixed and also in another sense saying that there will not be a new contract.

The only certain thing is that there is nothing new. I have a contract that I signed two years ago and you, of course, want to know what is going to happen now. Soon we will know what Atlético’s plan is."

On the other hand, the German press they have already indicated the possible substitute of Oblak in Atletico Madrid. Kicker, the German newspaper, placed Bernd Leno, goalkeeper of Bayer Leverkusen, in the Atletico’s orbit, where the fees of the transfer could be €25 million.
