CAIRO – 26 March 2018: German reports revealed that German Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp, is considering signing his fellow citizen Timo Werner, RB Liepzig’s striker, for the next season.

The German newspaper, Bild, said that despite the Reds owning one of the best attacking lines in Europe, Klopp wishes to include Werner in his attacking force; meanwhile, the player himself wants to leave Liepzig at the end of the current season.

The newspaper added that Klopp had entered in phone calls with Werner’s agents to check the possibility of signing the 22-year-old striker, whose price won’t be less than €100 million, in case Liepzig wanted to sell him.

At the same time, if Klopp really wants to sign Werner in the upcoming transfer window, one of Liverpool’s top stars such as Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah is probably leaving the club in the upcoming transfer window.
