CAIRO – 24 March 2018: Hector Cuper, the head coach of the national team, prevented the players' agents from entering the team's hotel in the Swiss city of Zurich in order to keep the players focused on games and training.

A number of players' agents spoke to the players, such as Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Moamen Zakaria and other players, about the possibility of their transfer to other clubs. The agents told their players that a number of clubs’ representatives would be present in Switzerland to watch and observe their performance, but Cuper refused the presence of these agents in the hotel.

Cuper was sad after the loss to Portugal in the final minutes of the game, noting that what happened was one of the languages of football.

Egyptian national team head coach said at the press conference after the match that the game was very important, especially in front of the European champions and one of the top teams in the world, assuring that he was hoping for a better result, but the team is still at the beginning of the preparation period for the World Cup.
