CAIRO – 23 March 2018: This Friday brings football fans a lot of interesting international friendly matches in the ‘FIFA Day’ as most of the national teams prepare for the biggest football tournament in the world: 2018 World Cup.

Beside the expected game between the Egyptian national team and Portugal to be held in Switzerland’s Letzigrund Stadium at 9:45 p.m. (CLT), here are the matches that you should watch this evening:

Russia vs. Brazil

Russia hosts Brazil at Luzhniki stadium, at 6:00 p.m. (CLT), as both teams begin their preparations for the next World Cup.

Russia, the 2018 World Cup host, looks to this game as a real tester for their abilities in front of one of the tournament favorites, Brazil.

Germany vs. Spain

2014 World Cup’s title holder, Germany, meets Spain, champion of the 2010 World Cup, at ESPRIT arena in Dusseldorf, Germany at 9:45 p.m. (CLT) to measure how prepared these two sides are for the summer’s competition.

Germany drew in their last two matches against England and France, but are unbeaten in 21 matches overall.

Netherlands vs. England

England begins their preparations for the 2018 World Cup when they visit Holland, with their first game under their new coach Ronald Koeman’s helm.

The ‘Three lions,’ England, need to experiment their abilities and to settle on their preferred starting line-up for Russia.

The game is to be held at the Amsterdam Arena at 9:45 p.m. (CLT).

Italy vs. Argentina

Non-qualifier, Italy, will be a tough test for World Cup favorite, Argentina, as they meet at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, UK in a friendly game at 9:45 p.m. (CLT).

Argentinean men, captained by Messi, will be keen to test their toughness against Italy, which failed to qualify for the summer showpiece after losing their two-legged playoff tie to Sweden in November. It will be the first time in six decades that Italy will not be at the World Cup.
