CAIRO – 23 March 2018: Welsh winger Gareth Bale had a great day in China when he led his national team to defeat China 6-0 on Thursday at the China Cup.

Bale granted Welsh’s new manager, Ryan Giggs, a great victory at his debut as a manager with the Welsh team.

Bale scored three goals while Burnley’s striker Sam Vokes scored two goals and Liverpool’s youngster Harry Wilson scored his first goal on an international level.

China, led by the Italian historic coach, Marcello Lippi, failed to impress the Chinese fans and their players were totally dominated by the Welsh team.

Bale’s hat-trick made him Wales’ all-time top scorer with 29 goals; breaking former Welsh striker’s Ian Rush’s record, which consists of 28 goals for his country.

Bale also holds another record on an international level as he is the youngest Welsh player to score a goal with the national team when he scored a goal against Slovakia at Euro 2008’s qualification match with a free kick.
Wales qualified to the friendly cup’s final to meet the victorious team that emerged from the game between Uruguay and the Czech Republic.
