CAIRO – 17 March 2018: Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah broke many records and led Liverpool to defeat Watford 5-0 in the 31st round of the English Premier League, as he scored four goals and provided an assist to Firmino.

He is the fourth Liverpool player to score four goals in a single Premier League game: Robbie Fowler (vs. Bolton & Middlesbrough), Michael Owen (vs. Nottingham Forest & West Brom), Luis Suarez (vs. Norwich) and Mohamed Salah (vs. Watford).

Salah became the first Egyptian to score a super hat-trick in the Premier League and the first player to score a hat-trick under Klopp management.

“The Egyptian King”, as most of Liverpool fans prefer to call him, tops the list of Premier League goal scorers with 28 goals.

Also, Mohamed Salah is now the outright top goal scorer in Europe's Top 5 Leagues this season with 28 goals scored.

The 25-year-old has now scored the most goals (37) in a debut season for Liverpool across all competitions. The second is Atletico Madrid’s Fernando Torres with 33 goals and the third is Barcelona’s Luis Suarez with 31 goals.

Salah is one goal away from Didier Drogba, who scored 29 goals in a single season to be the African player to score the most goals in the English Premier League.

Football fans on social media platforms reacted to Salah’s first goal in Watford and compared his style of play with Lionel Messi.

On the other hand, Liverpool’s striker Firmino is witnessing his best form, as he participated in 36 goals this season with Liverpool. He scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists in all the competitions.
