El-Badry announces Al-Ahly squad for Mounana's journey

CAIRO – 14 March 2018: Al-Ahly’s manager, Hossam El-Badry, announced on Tuesday the club’s squad that will travel to Gabon to face Mounana on March 17 at CAF Champions League round of 32 second leg.

Al-Ahly have achieved a 4-0 victory over Mounana on March 6. Marwan Mohsen opened the score for Al-Ahly before Walid Azarro’s goal that made the score 2-0 at the first half.

In the second half, Abdallah El-Said added two goals to secure Al-Ahly’s victory.



Al-Ahly’s Ahmed Hamoudi was included in the list after the injury that forced him to miss the first game in Cairo.

El-Badry’s chosen squad for the game consists of Mohamed El Shenawi, Ali Lotfi, Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Naguib, Sabry Rahil, Ahmed Fathi, Ayman Ashraf, Saad Samir, Ali Maaloul, Hisham Mohamed, Hossam Ashour, Mido Jaber, Islam Mohareb, Karim Nedved, Ahmed Hamdi, Ahmed Hamoudi, Amr El-Solia, Walid Soliman, Salah Mohsen, Walid Azarro, Junior Ajayi and Marwan Mohsen.

Al-Ahly will miss Abdallah El-Said who suffered an injury during the training sessions.

Al-Ahly has been crowned the Egyptian League Champions six weeks before the end of the season. The club has achieved its 40th title in history and increased the gap with their successor, Zamalek who achieved 12 titles.
