CAIRO – 28 April 2017: Sayed Abdel Hafiz, Al-Ahly football director, announced the date and venue of Al-Ahly expected clash with Zambian Zanaco in the team’s first Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League 2017 first round fixtures.

Hafiz confirmed that the home match will be played at Alexandria’s Burg Al-Arab stadium and is due on May 13.

Security authorities approved the attendance of 5 thousand of Al-Ahly fans, confirming that fans will be present in the match.

Cairo’s giant Al-Ahly was drawn with Morocco’s Wydad Athletic Club, the Coton Sport from Cameroon, and the Zambian Zanaco in the CAF champions league 16th round clashes.
