CAIRO – 28 February 2018: Liverpool-based Bakchich restaurant decided to offer their guests free falafels for every time Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah scores a goal for his team.

The restaurant, owned by Otto Mellouki, is Salah’s favorite restaurant in the city to eat Arabic food since he arrived from AS Roma last summer.

“Mo Salah’s favorite food is hummus falafel. It’s healthy Arabic cuisine. So from now until the end of the football season we will offer free mezze hummus falafel for every goal Mo Salah scores for Liverpool,” Mellouki told Liverpool Echo on Tuesday.

Salah has had a great season with Liverpool, scoring 31 goals with the club, including 23 goals in the Premier League. He led his team to place third in the league table with 57 points.

Mellouki added, “Hummus and falafel are the fuel of every Egyptian. It’s part of the Arabic diet, especially in the morning, and it’s healthy, tasty and doesn’t break the bank.”

Salah is expected to start against Newcastle on Saturday in the Premier League, and Bakchich’s guests hope Salah scores so they can enjoy the free food.
