CAIRO – 26 February 2018: Al Ahly announced on Monday that their winger, Ahmed Hamoudi needs more than 10 days to return to play with the team after he picked an injury during Al Ahly’s 2-1 victory over El-Entag El-Harby on Saturday night at the Egyptian League.

Hamoudi opened the score for Al Ahly at the game and he was substituted after 37 minutes for Walid Soliman.

Hamoudi will miss Al Ahly’s next two games against El-Dakhleya on Wednesday in the League and CAF Champions League round of 32 first leg against Gabon’s Mounana on March 6.

The tickets for Al Ahly game against Mounana will be put online on Thursday according to Al Ahly official website.

Al Ahly assistant manager, Sayed Moawad warned Al Ahly players about the Gabonese team, he said “It will be a tough clash against a good team who have many talented players.”

Moawad travelled to Gabon and watched Mounana’s 2-0 victory over Burkina Faso’s Rail Club du Kadiogo that qualified the team to face Al Ahly after a 1-0 loss in Burkina Faso.
