CAIRO – 24 February 2018: Vinicius Jr. is currently the biggest promising talent of Brazilian football. However, even at 16 years old, Real Madrid agreed to pay Flamengo, his club, €45 million ($55 million) to get him next season and leave him on loan at Flamengo so that he could continue training at his home club. His numbers also support him.

Sports website Globo Esporte highlights the performance of Vinicius, who has had a better beginning as a professional footballer than Neymar, Coutinho or Gabriel Jesus. Flamengo’s striker, who has played 1,380 minutes as a professional player, has scored more goals than the other three stars when they reached their first thousand and a half minutes in the elite.

Vinicius has eight goals, while Neymar and Gabriel Jesus counted seven. Coutinho only scored five in his first 3,000 minutes.

However, his goals are not decisive. Only two of his goals have had a decisive influence on the outcome of the game. Neymar, meanwhile, scored four important goals, and Gabriel Jesus made all seven goals change the score.
