CAIRO – 22 February 2018: Al Nasr hosts Zamalek on Thursday night in the Egyptian League at Cairo stadium.

Zamalek’s manager, Ihab Galal, will depend on a massive attacking line of Kasongo Kabongo, Mohamed Antar, Abdallah Gomaa and Emad Fathi.

Zamalek’s fans are putting all their hopes on the club’s top goal scorer in the league, Kasongo, to lead the team to achieve their fifth consecutive victory after defeating Tanta, Smouha, Wadi Degla and Petrojet.

Kasongo scored seven goals with the club including two goals against Petrojet last week.

“They do not have anything to lose as they are at the bottom of the table. We should give everything on the pitch to keep our amazing run,” Galal told the press on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Al Nasr hopes to recover from their 5-0 loss to Al-Ahly last week by securing a strong result against Zamalek. “We are facing difficult circumstances as many players are suffering from injuries and we were forced to give the chance to players from the youth team,” Al Nasr’s manager, Sayed Eid, told the press ahead of the game.

Zamalek are competing with Ismaily and Al-Masry to secure the second place in the League in order to qualify to the CAF Champions League next season.

Zamalek currently comes third at the Egyptian League table with 45 points; they are one point behind the second-placed, Ismaily, and 21 points behind the leaders, Al-Ahly.
