CAIRO – 21 February 2018: Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos revealed on Wednesday that his team will fight until the end to achieve the league title after defeating Leganes 3-1 to reduce the gap with the leaders, Barcelona, to 14 points.

“We've turned things around and we're achieving our objectives little by little. We will keep fighting in La Liga and will try to cut the gap by as many points as possible,” Ramos told press after the game.

Real Madrid returned from a 1-0 loss after five minutes to win the game 3-1, with Ramos scoring the third goal through a penalty.

Ramos added, “These victories always help to boost morale. Despite the bad results, this is the path to follow and we will keep improving and trying to concede as few goals as possible.”

Ramos will miss Madrid’s upcoming game against Deportivo Alaves, as he is suspended for yellow card accumulation after getting a yellow card against Leganes.

Real Madrid are having an amazing week, as they achieved three consecutive victories. They defeated Paris Saint Germain 3-1 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday before defeating Real Betis 5-2 on Sunday night, followed by their 3-1 victory over Leganes on Wednesday.
