CAIRO – 15 February 2018: Al Ahly invited their fans on Thursday to attend the Men’s and Women’s African volleyball Clubs Championships for free.
“Each supporter will have to pay LE 5 to complete legal procedures required to prove his legal eligibility to attend games,” Al Ahly board member, Mohamed el-Garhy informed press on Thursday.
The officials will allow 950 fans to attend the games at Abdullah bin Faisal halls at Al Ahly.
Al Ahly are the title holders defeating Etoile Du Sahel 3-1 last year in front of their fans and they have won a record of 12 Men’s African Volleyball Championships.
“We are defending our title and we hope to achieve it in front of our fans. I trust my players’ ability to win the competition,” Al Ahly’s manager, Mohamed Mselhy told the club’s official website.
The 2018 men’s competition is scheduled to be played from March 25 to April 6 while Women’s competition Is scheduled between 4 to 16 March.
