CAIRO – 12 February 2018: Barcelona failed to achieve victory in their last two games at the Spanish League known as La Liga as they ended their games against Espanyol and Getafe with a draw.
Barca’s setback revived La Liga's title race, as the second placed Atletico Madrid achieved two consecutive victories over Valencia and Malaga to decrease the gap with Barcelona to seven points.

Both teams will meet on March 4 at Nou Cam in La Liga which will be a decisive game for the shape of the competition.

Barcelona will play three games ahead of their clash against Atletico. They will start with an away game on Saturday February 17 against Eibar before hosting Girona on February 24. They will travel on March 1 to Canary Islands to meet Las Palmas.

On the other hand, Atletico Madrid will have a tougher campaign until their game with Barcelona as they will host Athletic Bilbao on Sunday February 18 before travelling to Andalusia to play against Sevilla. They will also host Leganes on Wednesday February 28.

Barcelona will have a busy schedule between their League games as they will play the Champions League round of 16's two games against Chelsea while Atletico Madrid will have an easier clash against FC Copenhagen at the Europa League.

Atletico Madrid fans hope to see Barcelona losing points in the next three games to reach Camp Nou game with more hope, while Barca fans hope that Bilbao, Sevilla and Leganes stop Atletico Madrid’s run at the league to be in a more comfortable position before March and focus on the Champions League competition.
