CAIRO - 19 April 2017: For the first time in six years, Alexandria is getting ready to welcome back the Egyptian National Squash Championship, which will be held at the Sporting Sports Club from April 20 till April 26.

More than 1,200 squash players from across Egypt will be competing for the biggest local squash tournament to date.

The tournament is directed by Captain Ezz Eldin Labib, supervised by Vice President of the Egyptian Squash Federation, Hani Hamouda and co-organized by former world champion Raneem El-Welily's brother Tameem El-Welily.

“Glad to bring this tour back to Alexandria after a 6-year hault,” Tameem El-Welily posted on Facebook.

The event, which will have 14 different draws, is expected to attract over 4,000 people.
With 14 different draws (the main men’s and women’s draw, two master categories and 10 junior draws), over 4000 people are expected to attend the event.
