CAIRO – 24 January 2018: Roma striker Edin Dzeko already has a one-way ticket to London. After many negotiations, Chelsea and Roma have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player to Antonio Conte's team.

According to the Italian newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea will sign both Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko and Italian left-back Emerson Palmieri for €50 million ($61 million).

Apparently, the offer of €6 million proposed by the Blues has convinced Dzeko, who receives €4.5 million with Roma.

The player, who will soon turn 32, will sign a contract until 2021 with the option of adding another year.

The Bosnian international recently bought a house in Rome, but Chelsea's offer has convinced him to move.

In fact, he has already been watched by some journalists while carrying his luggage in a car near his home.

At Chelsea, Dzeko has guarantees to become the substitute for Álvaro Morata.

The Spanish forward lately does not convince Conte, and the Italian coach looked for another option, finding his needs in Dzeko.
