CAIRO – 11 January 2018: The French Coupe de la Ligue semi finals draw put the reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain against Rennes, and Monaco against Montpelier.

PSG hopes to continue their amazing run in the competition as they are the most successful French club in the French Coupe de la Ligue, winning the title seven times while their opponent Rennes is still chasing their first.

PSG qualified for the semi finals by defeating Amiens 2-0 while Rennes defeated Toulouse 4-2.

Rennes hosts the game at their stadium, Roazhon Park, on January 30.

In the other game, Monaco players hope to reach the final and reconcile their fans after they lost 4-1 against PSG in last year’s final.

Monaco qualified for this round by defeating Nice 2-1 while Montpelier defeated Angers 1-0.

Monaco will host Montpelier on January 31 at Monaco stadium, Stade Louis II.

Monaco won the title once in 2003 and their opponent won the tournament in 1992.
