CAIRO – 10 January 2017: Liverpool’s Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, joined the Liverpool squad in the training session on Wednesday after he recovered from his injury.

Salah prepares with his team for their Saturday clash against Manchester City in the Premier League.

Salah missed Liverpool’s last two victories over Burnley in the Premier League and Everton in the first round of the FA Cup because he got injured in the game against Leicester City on December 30.

Salah won the Premier League Player of the Month award for two consecutive months. He also is Liverpool’s top goal scorer this season in all competitions. He scored 22 goals, 17 goals in the Premier League and five goals in the UEFA Champions League.

Salah places second in the Premier League top goal scorer list behind Harry Kane, who scored 18 goals for his club, Tottenham Hotspurs.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to start the game with Salah, alongside Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, due to Philippe Coutinho’s transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona on Saturday.
