CAIRO – 7 January 2018: Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde asked Barcelona fans not to rush the return of Barcelona’s French winger, Ousmane Dembele, to the team’s starting eleven.

“Everyone in my squad has the possibility of starting, but I've already said we need to be careful with Dembele; he must get involved in the team's dynamics again," Valverde told press on Saturday at the press conference ahead of the Levante clash in the Spanish League on Sunday.

Dembele played 20 minutes during Barcelona’s 1-1 away draw against Celta Vigo in the Spanish Cup on Thursday after he missed the club’s games for four months.

Dembele joined Barcelona last summer from Borussia Dortmund for $140 million, and he suffered a muscle injury against Getafe on September 16.

Valverde spoke about Liverpool winger Philippe Coutinho, saying, “Coutinho is a great player, just like there are many other great players, but what I like to value is who I have, not who I don't have.”

Coutinho has been linked with a move to Barcelona since last summer.
