CAIRO - 5 January 2018: Liverpool Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah has been nominated for Premier League Player of the month award for December. Salah, who was crowned player of the month in November, hopes to win the award for the second consecutive month.

Salah scored his first goal in December against Everton at Merseyside Derby and his second goal came against Bournemouth during Liverpool’s victory, 4-0.

Salah also scored Liverpool’s second goal in their draw, 3-3, against Arsenal before his two goals in the game against Leicester City, which ended 2-1 for Liverpool.

The other seven nominees for the award are Manchester City’s Nicolas Otamendi, Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez, Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino, West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic, Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso and Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.
