CAIRO – 28 December 2017: AC Milan won in style and beat their constant rival Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia’s quarter final 1-0 thanks to Patrick Cutrone’s goal in the extra time.

AC Milan’s coach, Gennaro Gattuso, and his team overcame their struggle in the Italian league and announced their return to the road of victory by beating Luciano Spalletti’s Inter Milan team which loses its third game in December in all the competitions.

Milan’s players responded well to recent criticism and won against their tough neighbor Inter Milan, which experienced its best season for a long time.

In the 105th minute, after both teams ended the regular 90 minutes with 0-0, Cutrone, AC Milan`s striker, sent a message of joy to Milan’s fans after he amazingly dealt with Suso’s assist.

Inter’s midfielder, Perisic, scored a goal but the virtual assistant referee (VAR) annulled it as it was offside. However, Antoni Donnarumma, Milan’s third goalkeeper, was the hero of the evening after preventing Inter from scoring.

AC Milan succeeded in qualifying for Coppa’s semi-final for the second time in a row.
