CAIRO – 26 December 2017: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp hopes to end the Premier League this season in the top four positions to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next year.

“It looks like we could be second, third or fourth this year. That's a fantastic situation. Not the dream, but a fantastic situation. That's what we are working on, and, for this, we have to improve in all departments,” Klopp told press ahead of Liverpool’s game against Swansea City on Tuesday night.

Liverpool is fourth in the league with 35 points from 9 victories, 2 losses and 8 draws. They are four points behind Chelsea, seven points behind Manchester United, and twenty points behind the leading team, Manchester City.

About Liverpool’s game against Swansea City, Klupp said, “they are under pressure, and that's clear because they fight for the league, 100 percent, and that will not change before Boxing Day, but we will be ready, and we will perform, if possible — like against Arsenal. But we will avoid the mistakes we made.”

Swansea City is at the bottom of the league table, with only 13 points after 19 fixtures, and they hope to improve their results to avoid relegation.
