CAIRO – 25 December 2017: Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal believes that his team will fight to win the Spanish League title, despite their 3-0 loss against Barcelona, which left them 14 points behind their Catalan rivals, on Saturday.

“The team will give everything, we will fight until the math says it is impossible, we are 14 points behind, but we will take it as we always do, going out to win, although we will have a bit more pressure and not a lot of margin for error," Carvajal told press on Monday.

Carvajal got a red card in the second half of the game after he prevented the ball using his hand inside their penalty area. Lionel Messi scored Barcelona’s second goal in the game through this penalty.

Cravajal spoke about the red card saying, “It was quite clearly a trigger for the defeat, the penalty and sending off made it 0-2 in a game of this caliber, it was an important turning point."
