CAIRO – 25 December 2017: The Egyptian badminton junior national team has won two silver medals after occupying the second place in the doubles competitions of the Arab Badminton Championship, held in Bizerte, Tunisia; the Championship is taking place between December 23 and December 28.

The male Egyptian team won second place after its victory over Morocco. It then lost to Algeria, who occupied first place. Meanwhile, the female team won second place after defeating the host country Tunisia and losing to Algeria.

The individuals’ competitions in the Arab Badmington Championship will start on Monday, December 25. Egypt will be represented in the individuals’ competitions by Jana Hesham, Nour Yousri, Mennatullah Ashraf, Jana Al Wazery, Omar Ezzat and Basel Hesham, according to Super Kora.
