National handball team travels to Latvia

CAIRO – 24 December 2017: The Egyptian handball national team headed by coach Marwan Ragab is preparing itself to travel to Latvia Monday morning to participate in a friendly tournament scheduled from December 27 to 29.

The handball national team will participate at Latvia’s tournament in preparation for the African Men's Handball Championship which will be held at Gabon in January 2018.

The squad list of the players who are traveling to Latvia included: Karim Hindawy, Mohamed Ali, Omar Al Wakil, Karim Ayman, Khaled Walid, Islam Hassan, Muhab Hossam, Abo El Fotoh Ahmed, Mamdouh Taha, Mohamed Ibrahem, Yehya Khaled, Ibrahim El Masry, Wesam Samy, Yehya Al Der’, Mohamed Sanad, Mohamed Mamdouh, Ali Zeyn, and Zamalek and national team star Ahmed Al Ahmar, Super Kora reported.

The first match for the Pharaohs at Latvia’s friendly will be against Estonia on December 27, then Netherlands on December 28, before the team plays the last match against the host team on December 29.
