CAIRO – 21 December 2017: The British newspaper Metro reported the reason behind Egyptian football legend Mohamed Salah’s absence from Liverpool's training on Wednesday before facing Arsenal.

On Friday, Liverpool will face Arsenal in round 19 of the Premier League at Emirates Stadium.

According to Metro, the absence of Mohammed Salah in the training on Wednesday has upset many Liverpool fans, because they are worried that the Red team will play without its top scorer in the match against the Gunners.

Metro said that the absence of Mohamed Salah from Liverpool’s training was because he traveled to Egypt to be revealed as the Vodafone Egypt brand ambassador.

Salah became the first English Premier League player of the season to reach 20 goals in all competitions.
