CAIRO – 20 December 2017: The president of Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeness, spoke about the current player of Paris Saint Germain Neymar Jr. saying now that he is not interested in despite the fact that some time ago he was interested in him.

Although Neymar had been a monster for the Bavarian club, by scoring three goals in four games against Bayern Munich, but Hoeness said at a group of fans from the Bavarian club: "Neymar does not seem so good to me."

Hoeness attended the Christmas party of one of the Bayern fan clubs, the Schießamer Red-White Dynamite 96 eV, and defended the fact that his board of directors had not launched to sign the forward putting many millions on the table, as did PSG last summer to pay €222 million ($262 million) to FC Barcelona for Neymar`s transfer.

"We cannot invest €222 million in Neymar, who does not seem so good, or €180 million in Kylian Mbappé, who I really like," added the Bavarian president.

Although he has not made major investments so far - his most expensive signing was that of Tolisso, Bayern`s midfielder, for €41 million, it seems that Bayern is now determined to invest more money in reinforcements of the squad.

Bayern tried to sign Neymar twice; first, in 2010, when he was still in the Brazilian Santos, but they felt that they should not pay the €24 million, which demanded by the Brazilian team for a player who was then 17 years.

Three years later, with Pep Guardiola, current Manchester City`s coach, at Bayern, they returned to Neymar deal, but dismissed the signing because of the high cost and the load of commissions that implied.

"We have to find our own way in this shark pit in which we move when talking about transfers for €100 and €200 million, we want to be at the top but not at any price," Hoeness said later, when he criticized the huge players` prices.
