Al-Ahly invites Ghaly, Kahraba to the game against Atletico

CAIRO – 17 December 2017: Al-Ahly Club’s (Al-Ahly SC) Board of Directors, headed by the club’s president, Mahmoud Al-Khatib, invited former Al-Ahly midfielder and current Saudi Arabian Al-Nasr player Hossam Ghaly to participate in the match against Atletico Madrid on December 30.

Al-Ahly SC had previously announced the organization of a major sports event under the title “Peace against Terrorism” on December 30, the date of the big festival. The event will be a football game between Al-Ahly and Atletico Madrid in Borg Al-Arab Stadium.

Al-Khatib also invited Al-Ittihad winger and former Zamalek player Mahmoud Kahraba to play the game alongside his Al-Ahly teammates.

Adly Al-Qei, the official spokesman of Al-Ahly SC, said Al-Ahly's income from its friendly game against Atletico Madrid will be allocated to the families of the martyrs of Egypt.

It has been decided that Atletico Madrid’s team will arrive on a private jet to Borg Al-Arab Airport on December 29, play the game the next day, and then return home.
