CAIRO – 16 December 2017: Gianluigi Donnarumma, AC Milan’s goalkeeper, has had a problematic week. His controversial agent Mino Raiola commented that the goalkeeper wants to leave AC Milan in the summer due to "moral violence"; Donnarumma was subjected to pressure from his fans during the (3-0) victory in the match against Hellas Verona in the Italian Cup.

Milan's fans accused him of hypocrisy by raising a banner: "Psychological violence is charging €6 million a year and paying the salary to a parasitic brother? Go now, patience is over."

Donnarumma was devastated to see how the facts were being misrepresented and decided to post a message on his Instagram.

"It was a bad afternoon and I did not expect it! I never said in writing of having suffered moral violence when I signed the contract, but I look forward and wait for the next match. Forza Milan!"

Some unusual news came from Italy as Mino Raiola, the player’s agent, opted to cancel Donnarumma’s renewal for "moral violence."

The club also wanted to intervene; Milan's Sporting Director Massimiliano Mirabelli confessed: "Gigio has never expressed his desire to leave Milan, without a doubt; there is someone who wants to invent things on purpose."

Raiola, meanwhile, could not contain himself and continued to insist that he defended Donnarumma.

"I take note of what Mirabelli says to me, after all we are in a democratic country and I can say what I think. Mirabelli has a personal problem with me and uses Gigio to attack me,” Raiola stated.
