CAIRO – 12 December 2017 : Barcelona drawn with Chelsea at UEFA Champions League round of 16. Two former Barcelona players will return to play against their friends and in front of their beloved fans. Cesc Fabregas and Pedro Rodriguez will return to Camp Nou but with different jerseys.

Cesc Fabregas, born in Barcelona and his first steps with football was inside the city’s biggest club, Barcelona. He joined the club when he was just 10 and wore their jersey till he left in 2016 to join Arsenal in London.

Fabregas played during his time at Barcelona academy alongside Barcelona current players, Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique.

Fabregas returned to play in Camp Nou between 2011 and 2014, but he left again to London yet this time to play for Chelsea.

Pedro Rodriguez joined Barcelona in 2004 and played for the first team when he was 22. Pedro was a regular player at Barcelona starting eleven till he left in 2016 to join Chelsea.

Pedro won everything with Barcelona and was a member at Barcelona golden generation.

Both players will put their feelings a side in both games hoping to help their team to qualify to the next round.
