CAIRO – 11 December 2017: The Competition Committee of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) decided to suspend Misr Al-Maqassa’s coach Ayman Ragab for eight matches and a fine of LE 10,000, for insulting the referees of the match between Al-Maqassa and Al Ahly and for trying to break into the dressing room assigned to the referees in the stadium.

Al Ahly lost to Al-Maqassa 3-2 on Sunday in the match that was postponed from the second round of the Egyptian Premiere League, and the objection came from Ragab because of the referee’s decision of a penalty kick against Al-Maqassa.

The committee also decided to impose a fine of LE 10,000 as well on the Egyptian Premiere League team Petrojet because of the goalkeeper’s uniform at the team’s match against Al Ismaily, which was not the agreed one at the meeting held before the match.
