CAIRO – 7 December 2017: Mohamed Salah continued to shine with Liverpool in the Champions League.

Salah arrived to his 8th goal in the Champions League, and currently, the player has amassed eight goals from 21 games with four teams; Basel, Chelsea, Roma and Liverpool respectively.

Salah needs only five more goals, to become the top Arab scorer in the Champions League history.

Currently the top Arab scorer in the Champions League history is Algerian Rabah Madjer, a former Porto player, with 12 goals in 17 games.

Yassin Brahimi, another Porto player, scored against Monaco on Wednesday and has leveled Salah’s number of goals.

The competition between Salah and Brahimi will continue this season in the Champions League, because Liverpool and Porto qualified for the round of 16.

Liverpool may face Porto in the round of 16, and that is what we're going to find out next Monday in the draw ceremony.
