CAIRO – 7 December 2017: Liverpool defeated Spartak Moscow 7-0 on Wednesday night at the UEFA Champions League. Liverpool qualified to the round of 16 after they topped their group with 12 points.

Liverpool dominated the game from the start, scoring the first goal by Philippe Coutinho after only four minutes, following Mohamed Salah being tackled by Spartak’s defense.

Coutinho doubled the score in the 15th minute after a great play between Liverpool players. Four minutes later, Roberto Firmino scored the third goal to end the first half 3-0.

In the second half, Sadio Mane added Liverpool’s fourth goal in the game after only one minute. Three minutes later, Coutinho scored his third goal in the game and Liverpool’s fifth.

Sadio Mane added his second and Liverpool’s sixth goal in the game to make the result harder on the Russians.

Mohamed Salah finished Liverpool’s festival after he dribbled through Spartak’s defense to score Liverpool’s last goal in the game.

Liverpool qualified to the second round atop their group, with 12 points, after three victories and three games ended in a draw.
