CAIRO – 5 December 2017: Zamalek SC head coach Jovovic Nebosja denies rumours concerning his release of a list of players to be released in the upcoming winter transfer in January. The coach explained that it would be irrational for him to release a list of names, or even determine the players that will be released, when the team still has many difficult matches to play in the Egyptian Premiere League and the Egyptian Cup.

Nebosja declared to the official website of Zamalek SC that such action may reflect bad morale on players and it could lead them to pay less attention during training sessions. He noted that doing so is against his coaching style, as he always tries to praise players and motivate them to do better in traning sessions and matches.

Zamalek SC did not achieve good results in the Egyptian Premiere league lately, as the team tied with the last team of the league, Al-Ragaa, 1-1 in the 12th week, and lost from Misr Al-Maqassa 3-1 in the 11th week. The team’s poor performance led three choaching staff members to resign, namely Hussein El-Sayed, Medhat Abdel Hady and Tarek Yehya.
