CAIRO – 4 December 2017: Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, praised French midfielder Paul, after his amazing performance in United’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Saturday at the Premier League.

“Since he came back from injury he has been phenomenal,” Mourinho said on Monday.

Pogba played one of his best games since he joined Manchester United in 2016. He led Manchester United’s counter-attacks during the game, providing two assists to Antonio Valencia and Jesse Lingard, helping them to score the first and third goals, respectively.

Pogba returned to Manchester United after a long-term injury that forced him to miss seven Manchester United games in the Premier League.
He also got a red card against Arsenal and is expected to miss out on another three games as a penalty, including the Manchester City game on Sunday.

Mourinho revealed that Pogba will appear in the Manchester United clash against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday at Champions League. Mourinho said, “He is very happy to play tomorrow; of course, he is a bit tired because it was a huge match last weekend and he [had] just two days to recover for CSKA but he is very happy to play tomorrow and try to keep his momentum.”

Manchester United faces CSKA Moscow on Tuesday at home to secure qualification to the Champions League’s second round.
