CAIRO – 24 November 2017: Griezmann’s former agent, Eric Olhats, believes that Griezmann’s days with his current club, Atletico Madrid, are numbered.

“His situation is very complicated, I know him so well and to see him play poorly for several matches means something,” Olhats told Marca on Thursday.

Olhats discovered Griezmann when he was a child and acted as his agent until the last year, when they decided to split.

Olhats spoke about the player’s relation with his team fans, who booed him when he was a substitute against Real Madrid, stating, “he will say that he must accept it and that it's part of the game, but I'm convinced he'll have suffered."

Griezmann rejected many offers to leave the club and he decided to stay as the club was banned from signing until 2018.

Olhats refused to confirm the player’s departure. He said, “everything is possible in football and perhaps he'll think differently in a few months, but right now there is a sense of this being the end of the Griezmann and Atletico story."

Griezmann has been lately linked with a move to Barcelona.
