CAIRO –20 November 2017: After a brilliant performance with Barcelona, German goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen is waiting to enter the history of La Liga if he keeps a clean sheet on Sunday against Valencia.

Ter Stegen has only conceded four goals in 12 rounds of La Liga.

Atletico Madrid's Jose Francisco Molina made the best record when he conceded only three goals in the first 12 rounds of the 1995-1996 season. He conceded the fourth goal in the match to Real Madrid in the 13th round.

So if Ter Stegen keeps a clean sheet against Valencia, he would equal Molina’s record in the first 13 rounds.

The German goalkeeper's performance extends to the Champions League as well, as he conceded a single goal in the first four rounds of the competition.

Ter Stegen, 25, won two La Liga titles, three Spanish Cup titles, the 2015 UEFA Champions League title and the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup championship with Barcelona.
