CAIRO – 18 November 2017 : Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praised Mohamed Salah, the team’s Egyptian winger, after he led Liverpool to defeat Southampton 3-0 on Saturday in the Premier League.

“What can I say? He's in a good moment; it's good for us," Klopp told press after the game.

Salah scored two goals in the first half to secure a comfortable lead for his team before Philippe Coutinho scored Liverpool’s third goal in the second half.

Salah scored the first goal after a great strike from outside the area that found its way in Southampton’s net, while the second goal came after a wonderful pass from his Brazilian teammate, Coutinho.

Klopp spoke about Salah’s goals, saying, “The first goal was not a real chance from out there. It's a fantastic goal. The second goal was a fantastic play and an outstanding pass from Coutinho.”

Salah became the top goal scorer in the Premier League, scoring nine goals in 12 games with Liverpool.
