CAIRO – 19 November 2017: Sevilla has decided to strengthen the squad under coach Eduardo Berizzo in the next winter market.

After acquiring the services of Brazilian Guilherme Arana, international defender from the U-20 Brazil team and SC Corinthians, his goal is now to acquire the best known in European football, Argentinean player Javier Pastore from Paris Saint Germain.

The Andalusia club is playing their cards, using the good relations maintained by Sevilla`s current Argentinean coach with his compatriot Pastore and the charm of Spanish football for the players.

Pastore has been on the market since the end of summer. After the signing of Neymar and M'bappé, Paris Saint Germain`s president is obliged to sell another player in order to comply with the financial fair play.

The Andalusians cannot reach an agreement with the French club, but they play in favor of Pastore.

Javier Pastore landed at PSG in 2011. It was an important economic bet, since he disbursed around €43 million ($50.7 million).

The Argentinean midfielder was in demand by several of the great Europeans teams, and his signing was without doubt one of the “bombs” of that year.

It can even be said that Pastore was then the first symbol of the new Qatari owners, but over the years he has been losing prominence in the French league.

Pastore, at 28 years old, became unnoticed after the signing of several players since 2011 and has become more absent after Unai Emery, Paris`s coach, became the head coach.
