CAIRO – 17 November 2017 : Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, announced on Thursday that the club’s Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, will return back to the team in 2017.

“As we expect, he's reduced the timing of his recovering and, as we were saying a few weeks ago, he will be back in 2017, which is a magnificent recovery," Mourinho told press on Thursday.

Ibrahimovic is recovering from a knee injury that happened to him during a Manchester United game against Belgium’s Anderlacht at Europa League.

Mourinho praised the thirty –six-year-old striker by saying, “he is a lion, he is a fighter, I think that is a good description of him, he has the anger all the time and that's the reason why he's almost coming back.”

Mourinho coached Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Inter Milan in 2008 and signed him in 2016 when he became Manchester United’s manager.

Ibrahimovic had a great first season, with Manchester United scoring 28 goals to be United’s top scorer in the last season.
