CAIRO - 16 November 2017: Liverpool's German coach Jürgen Klopp, 50, was taken to a hospital after "feeling bad" on Wednesday, but will be able to return home, the English club announced.

"He was examined by doctors and will be absent from training," the club said in a statement, explaining that his admission to the hospital was "a precaution."

"Jürgen is not expected [to stay] beyond the planned tests, so he will return home," added the entity, ensuring that the coach will undergo further medical examinations "in the coming days."

The 'Reds', who will face Southampton on Saturday in the Premier League, did not report regarding the date to which Klopp will be reinstated to training or whether he will lead the team against the 'Saints.'

Jurgen Klopp was appointed as a manager to Liverpool on October 8, 2015. He led the Reds in 117 matches where he succeeded to win 59 matches, got defeated 24 times and ended 34 games with a draw.
