Great Saturday for derby lovers

CAIRO – 16 November 2017 : What is the only thing better than a day packed with football games? It is a day packed with derby games, for which winning is worth more than a title.

Football fans should consider Saturday, November 18 as a day off to be able to watch all the derbies scheduled in order to avoid missing anything.

It is a good day to return to the biggest leagues’ competitions after a long two-week international break.

The day starts early, as Arsenal hosts Tottenham Hotspurs at Emirates Stadium in the North West derby at 1:30 p.m. (Cairo local time). It is one of the most competitive games in the league, as both teams’ fans look to each other with much disrespect and hatred.

After the end of that derby, you will have time from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to recover your muscles for the next derby. However, you will be able to watch many beautiful games in the Premier League, like Leicester City vs. Manchester City and Liverpool vs. Southampton, or you can turn your mind towards the Spanish League to watch Barcelona’s game against Leganes.

At 7 p.m., it is your time to watch some action in Italy, when Olympico Stadium hosts the Capital derby between Roma and Lazio. This game does not care about the clubs’ position in the table or their performances in the previous games. Italians will hopefully forget the shock they experienced after failing to qualify to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

At the end of the day, it is your time to watch Real Madrid play in their rivals’ new stadium, Wanda Metropolitano, for the first time.

Atletico Madrid fans hope to overcome their previous poor results by defeating Real Madrid and creating another beautiful memory in their new stadium.
