CAIRO – 10 November 2017: Al-Ahly returns to the domestic competitions when they face Telephonat Beni Suef SC on Friday at 8:00 p.m. at Egypt Cup round of 32.

Al-Ahly hopes to reconcile with their fans after they lost CAF Champions League title on Saturday November 4 to Wydad Casablanca.

Al-Ahly enters the game without their manager, Hossam el-Badry who travelled on a vacation to Canada after the loss against Wydad, Al-Ahly assistant coach, Ahmed Ayoub leads the team in the game.

Al-Ahly misses many International players who joined the national team for Ghana game at 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Al-Ahly will miss Saad Samir, Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Fathi, Abdallah el-Said, Ramy Rabia and Moamen Zakaria.

Many substitutes like Ahmed El Sheikh, Emad Moteb, Amr Barakat and Eslam Mohareb hope to show their abilities and earn a place at Al-Ahly regular line-up.

Al-Ahly hold the record of winning the competition as Al-Ahly crowned with 36 Egypt Cup titles.
