CAIRO – 9 November 2017: Arsenal English midfielder Jack Wilshere praised Arsenal local rivals Tottenham Hotspurs ahead of their clash on Saturday, November 18, in the Premier League.

“They've come a long way in the last few years, They finished above us last year, and we want to finish above them this year,” Wilshere told Skysports on Wednesday.

This applaud to Tottenham came from one of their strongest enemies as Wilshere always insulted Tottenham in his speeches since he became a regular player in Arsenal, and he was constantly insulted from Tottenham fans.

Wilshere added, “but it's not all about that, we don't just look at them. We want to finish as high as we can.”

Wilshere is an Arsenal academy product. He joined the club at nine and spent most of his entire career with the club.

Wilshere spoke about the game, stating, “we know it's going to be a tough game. It's at the Emirates, so we have to take the game to them."
