CAIRO – 04 November 2017: Al Ahly is set to meet Wydad Casablanca in the second-leg final of CAF Champions League. The match will be held at Mohammed V stadium on Saturday at 10 pm (Cairo Local Time).

Ahly tied 1-1 with their Moroccan counterpart Wydad during the first leg of the African Champions League final held at Borg Al Arab stadium in Alexandria. Ahly needs a win in order to win the title.

The red giants are looking to secure the ninth African title in history and also the historical “Treble,” as it could be their third consecutive title wins.
Al Ahly has reached the CAF Champions League final for the 11th time in their history and for the first time since their win 2013.

Wydad Casablanca is looking to win their first African Champions League title since 1992.

Ahly is suffering with multiple injured players. Hossam Ashour, Saleh Gomaa, and most recently their Tunisian star Ali Maaloul have all been put out of commission.

The Egyptian ambassador stated through Al-Ahly’s channel that it was agreed for 1,000 fans of Al-Ahly to attend the match at Mohamed V Stadium.

The FIFA Club World Cup draw was conducted earlier this month and the African winners will play against CF Pachuca.
