CAIRO –4 November 2017: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that it is too early to look at Manchester City as the new invincibles, Wenger said to the Arsenal website ahead of their game on Sunday.

“It is a bit early. It is only 10 games played and there are 28 to go. That is quite a long way. I believe it is very difficult to extrapolate at the moment. They are going through a good patch,” Wenger stated on Friday.

Wenger led Arsenal to win the 2004 Premier League title without losing any game, having finished the season with 90 points after 26 wins and 12 draws.
Manchester City tops the Premier League table with 28 points after nine wins and a draw. They are five points ahead of the second-place team, Manchester United.
Wenger added, “If you look at what has been said about Real Madrid three weeks ago, it shows you how fragile everything is in the game.”
