CAIRO – 3 November 2017 : Former Real Madrid captain, José María Gutiérrez known as Guti, calmed Real Madrid’s fans about the team’s situation after two consecutive losses against Girona and Tottenham Hotspurs.

“There is no crisis; we have a great team and a great coach,” Guti told the press on Friday.

Real Madrid had a difficult week as they lost on Sunday 2-1 to Girona in the Spanish League and they lost on Wednesday 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspurs in the Champions League.

Guti added; “They have won two successive Champions Leagues and I'm sure a third is coming."

Real Madrid won two Champions League titles in a row under their manager, Zinedine Zidane’s command to be the first team ever to achieve such an achievement.

Guti is a Real Madrid academy product, he joined the team academy when he was 10 and represented the first team for 15 years from 1995 to 2010.

Real Madrid players hope to get back on track when it’s time to play against Las Palmas at the Spanish League on Sunday.
